QPI Goals

QPI is designed to ensure that every child who is removed from his or her home receives quality parenting from kinship or foster parents that meet his or her emotional, developmental, cognitive and social needs.

In achieving that goal, we expect to see:  

• Increased numbers of committed and quality care families, including kin, who can parent these children
• Increased rates of placement stability
• Reduction of use of group care
• Increased rate of same placement for siblings
• Increased reunification of children and birth families
• Timely permanency
• Highly-skilled staff committed to Quality Parenting
